Q&A With Jen...

Where do you LIVE?
I live in the Sloan’s Lake area in a brick bungalow surrounded by wonderful neighbors. It was an easy transition from living downtown as we gained a yard with a blissful garden and the lake just a few blocks away, yet downtown is still an easy bike ride or a quick cab ride away. We’ve also got lots of local hangouts right in the area to ride our bikes to for dinner, brunch, or Colorado craft beer.

Why Real Estate... Aren't There Enough Agents On The Planet Already?
Buying our first home really sparked my interest in the business. We had a really wonderful buying experience and the whole process was very interesting to me. I already love to work with all kinds of different people, but I learned that I have an appreciation for all kinds of different architecture, unique décor, and landscaping as well. I wanted to create the same experience that we had for the many new people that I am privileged to meet in this business.

What Music Is Currently In Your iPod?
I don’t discriminate when it comes to music. I think the CD in my car right now is Led Zeppelin II, but my morning run was with 30 Seconds to Mars, the last concert I went to was The Motet, and I can’t deny my country roots.

What Cause Gets Your Time And Money?
The most fun I’ve had fundraising locally was when I raised money to play flag football in the Blondes vs. Brunettes football game benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association.

Give It Up. What Local Restaurant Is Your Best Kept Secret?
Wow, so many good ones to choose from! But Potager has a special place in my heart. It was where my fiancé took me on our first date. He offered to take me to any restaurant in Denver that I’d always wanted to try. How could I refuse, I’d been wanting to try Potager ever since I’d read an article about their farm to table practice, seasonal menu, and the owner’s story and vision. It did not disappoint and it is a favorite place to return now as their food is always fresh, the menu is always changing, and the entire staff has a passion for food and wine.
